Volunteering for People with Disabilities

Many with disabilities are greatly involved in their communities.

"I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do."

-Everett Edward Hale (1822-1909)

Many more want to get involved, but face obstacles that keep them from doing so.

The Volunteer Center's "Everyone Can Serve" program was created to help eliminate some of these obstacles.

At the Volunteer Center we believe that every person has talents to offer which they can share through volunteering.

The "Everyone Can Serve" program works with the individual to identify their strengths and abilities and uses this information to open doors to volunteer opportunities.

GETTING STARTED:

If you are a person with a disability and want to use your abilities as a volunteer, contact the Volunteer Center at 261-6674 or info@volunteercentermc.org to set up an appointment.

"Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve."

-Martin Luther King, Jr. (1929-1968)
