Businesses small, large, national and international are embarking on the philanthropic idea of Employee Volunteering. Employee volunteering is sometimes called corporate, business, workplace or employer-supported volunteering. The basic plan of an Employee Volunteer Program involves employees who are encouraged and/or supported by their employers to connect with area non-profit agencies. Through the actions of employers and employees non-profit organizations work toward completing a mission and the community benefits. It is a win-win-win-win situation.
