School Outreach

 

As of November 30, 2007 the Volunteer Center of Marathon County will no longer be offering services.  Thank you for your continued support and faith in the ability of individuals to make a difference in their community.  Working with members of this community has allowed me to realize the wealth of human resources that Marathon County has.  I hope that those resources continue to be used and remain an essential part of realizing the potential of our community. Are you having a hard time deciding whether you want to finish your homework or take the dog for a walk? Well, life just got easier because the Volunteer Center may be coming to a lunchroom near you.  We can help you find volunteer opportunities that are meaningful and fun or help you organize a service learning project. I highly recommend visiting the Youth Volunteer Coordinator next time they visit your school!
